32: A Firearm, Fictional or Real.

The August 2013 contest is to recreate a gun, rifle, pistol, or cannon of your choice. It can be modeled after an existing one, it can be a scaled clone of a fictional one, or it can be completely made up. Zen Magnets only for this contest. No Neoballs or other brands are permitted. No limit on the number of magnets used. Post processing is allowed. No other objects may be used to create your firearm. Use not your bright reflective flash, but instead a self-timer and a tripod (or stand.)


As usual, the judges will be your peers. Pay attention to resolution, focus, lighting and framing. There will be at least SIX winners, possibly more depending on participation. The prize for first place in this difficult contest will be $75 Zen Credits, usable on or Everything you submit goes into the public domain. Have fun!
